48 players comprise the participant field of a European Tour event. The top 16 of the Pro Tour ranking are set and enter the tournament in the second round. The other 32 places will be played in various qualifying tournaments. Before the Blåkläder Darts Open begins, the Belgian Qualifiers will be held on Thursday 4th of May 2023, where the two best from this tournament will gain entry to the Open on Friday. This leaves a whole weekend full of action and excitement as top qualifying players do their best to upset the top pros in the darts scene.
Registration for the qualifier via PDC will open soon.
The registration for the Blåkläder Darts Open Qualifier on Thursday must be made via the PDC Player Entry System.
Players that never played a PDC event before must register within the system first.
The Blåkläder Darts Open will be held in the Oktoberhallen, Wieze. This iconic location has a long history of hosting events. The atmosphere is set to be electric in the hall that has capacity for approximately 3000 people. Parking is available for those wishing to travel by car to the venue or if you are with a large group, you can use a private bus.
There are 2 parkings (P1, P2) around the venue that can be used for cars. Parking is available at 10€ per car.
Private busses can use the exclusive parking area for busses on the Sasbaan. Busses can be left there during the event.”
At the Oktoberhallen there is a separate entrance for public and VIP.
There is also the possibility of using public transport to and from the venue itself. The Oktoberhallen has its own bus stop directly in front of the venue. You can use De Lijn to plan your trip to the venue by public transport.
The Blåkläder Darts Open will be hosting the best players in the world in Wieze, Belgium who will be fighting it out on stage for the Blåkläder Darts Open Title, as well for the ranking points and prize money. Some of the sports best and brightest will be joining us right here in Belgium, with the Belgian boys looking to take home a tour win on home soil.
